Traverse City
Open men’s Circle*

INTRODUCTION & CONTEXT:
The world is calling for traditional masculinity to evolve, mature, and transform—a beautiful yet immense challenge for men. Many of us carry generational patterns of suppressing and denying our emotional needs. While we’re being called forward, we lack a roadmap or proper support to navigate this path.

This is the power of men’s circles: a space where men support one another through shared experiences. Here, you’ll realize you’re not alone, your struggles aren’t unique, and there’s men who are willing to listen.

Our circles are structured, facilitated, and grounded in clear, signed agreements, creating a space where you can show up authentically, be witnessed and supported.

CIRCLE INTENTION:

To empower men by fostering a space for connection, support, and growth. We aim to build a brotherhood of conscious, grounded, and compassionate men, rooted in mutual respect and a shared commitment to sharpen one another for deeper resilience in an ever-changing world. Where integrity, accountability and responsibility are cultivated and required for participation. Where men are encouraged to support one another in sharpening themselves while being rooted in respect and understanding.

DATES & TIMES:
Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm. Exact location provided privately.

COST:
Donation based. There is no monetary requirement to being in circle, donate if and what you can. Donations support the cost of space, the tea enjoyed each circle and upkeep.

OVERVIEW

This is a ritual, supported, facilitated space for men to find support, navigate life, cultivate deep levels of accountability, integrity & responsibility and find fellow men committed to the same.

Our circle draws on over fifty years of wisdom from men devoted to creating meaningful connections rarely found elsewhere. Open to all men 18 and older, it’s a non-denominational (with ritual, spiritual elements) space where generations—sometimes spanning up to five decades—come together.

Each circle is a unique journey, shaped by those present. Whether you’re processing anger, navigating deep grief, looking to cultivate deeper integrity or accountability in your life or seeking clarity without knowing exactly why, this space to explore those inquires.

Our circles are almost exclusively talking based in an indoor and comfortable environment. This is a soft introduction to men’s work and does not involve challenging activities or exercises.

That being said this space isn’t for everyone, in fact it is often times triggering and intense simply by engaging in conversation and discussion. This is because we welcome men to share openly about what they are navigating & struggling with, which can be both incredibly powerful and beautiful and triggering for those who are listening.

We each carry our own wounding, trauma and triggers, we can’t prevent that from happening in a circle space, but we can support you in navigating what comes up (and if we can’t we will be clear and support you in finding the resources that can). As we often say in circle, we can either navigate it in a supported space or face it in our everyday lives without support.

Participation is entirely on your terms and voluntary, within the framework of clear, mutual agreements. No one is forced to do or participate beyond where they are comfortable. Any man can leave at anytime for any reason. The most important thing is that being in circle and brotherhood with other men who are committed to working on themselves resonates with you.

Attending your first circle may feel intimidating, but rest assured, this is a place where who you are, your experiences and what you are looking for, are accepted without judgement.
